I am the one who gives
and suffers in return
The one with so much love
but who ends up hurt.
Why did you teach me to love so much?
Why didn't you show me that the love you give
is not given in return?
Or that when you find that love
that loves you in return
is not forever yours.
You couldn't let me know
that the world is filled with so much pain
and people who abuse the love you give.
That when you love,
there are no words for the feelings.
Such an amazing feeling
of endless happiness.
Then suddenly taken away.
The one who gives
but in return ends up losing that love
because of her own self worth,
tell me why did you show me to love so much.
