Fizz
Hiss
Landing on blacktop heated up with sunshine
BOOM!
CRACK!
Thunder, lightning
The flitter-twitters of songbirds
Of past sunshine
Of spring
Of summer
Of newly planted gardens
Roots just beginning
Zip-zap
Lightning zigzagging across the sky
Tip tap of rain on the roof
Whispers and hushes of leaves in the wind while it rains
Ra-a-tat-tat of the plinking rain
KA-RACK!
Flash! Lightning!
The stormy rainy day.
