The sky was a pallet of colours
With clouds scattered here and there
But the sea itself was the work of the brush
With drops of paint everywhere
The waves sent up a shower of spray,
awakening me from my thoughts
and brought me back to reality
and the scene that I had sought
I had wanted to capture the picture
of the sea in the morning sun
But it seemed the scene I had wanted to paint
Had already been expertly done!
