I have traveled from East to West
From North to South
From the Nation Chippewa
To the shores of Okinawa.

I have lived in California
Also in the state of Arizona
Been to North Carolina
I went to the other Carolina.

Traveled to Surinam
And had to go to Viet Nam
Went to the east in Thailand
Saw the Cayman Island.

No matter where I have been
And no matter what I’ve seen
I know wherever I roam
There’s no place like home.
