(Center Line, MI, USA)
I can hear the quiet whispers in the distance,
the dark blue shade of night sky.
I stand alone as the stars shimmering glow brightens my eyes,
my mind wanders, it moves from place to place,
though my feet take not one pace.
because I wanna fly,
I have wings but they're invisible,
strong enough to guide me through life's stormy weather,
but can only carry me if I was light as a feather.
as the wind blows, it whistles past my face,
no matter which direction I choose to chase.
As sixteen ears & eight souls stand in circle,
to every pair no two sound the same,
the whispers in the distance,
are the Voice of Destiny.
