I know you say that Mothers Day
Should Be Everyday,
Not just one day in the year
And that is all too clear
Big presents and cards don't mean too much
When all year round you don't do much
So By Just giving a helping hand
Like picking the washing and placing them on the stand
By making a meal and cleaning up
Then placing them on the shelf,
These little things don't need any money
Cos a mum does so much, without asking too much
A helping hand is all I need
When I come home tired and with aching feet
Not expensive presents or wonderful treats.
Cos I have everything that I need
Beautiful children, a husband and home
Therefore with God's blessings, I have everything I could ever want
