When you look at a soldier;
you see bravery and pride.
For they are the heroes who fight with no fear.
When you look at a soldier;
you will never see tears in their eyes.
For they selflessly serve.
When you look at a soldier;
you see loving family.
For they have left loved ones to fight for freedom.
When you look at a soldier;
you see patriotism.
For they are the pride of our country.
When you look at a soldier;
you see sacrifice.
For they have given endlessly to protect us.
When you look at a soldier;
you see the white crosses of Arlington.
For many lives of brave men and women have been taken.
When you look at a soldier;
you see gratitude and thanks
For there is no way we can repay what they have done for us.
